The Beauty of wHoliness  Pt.1

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder..’ God tells us in His word to us that the King desires the beauty of his daughter. (Ps.45:11) You are beautiful in His eyes, and to who else would you want to desire you the most?

God has desired you from the beginning, He has always seen you as a pearl of great price, perfectly woven, a spirit being.

There is a huge difference between a manicured

grave plot and a manicured pearl, apart from the

latter not needing so much manicure!

Fashion is the tool this world offers you to craft the person you see yourself as and to present it along the catwalk of your journey in this earth. Behind the tool is Satan himself and he uses it to fashion people in his image. He describes his world system as glorious, magnificent and excellent and he could give it to whom ever he wanted, at a price. (Lk.4:5-7 Amp.) The word ‘world’ in Greek is ‘cosmos,’ it means adornment or decoration, it is where we get our word cosmetics and describes the way a woman adorns her face. This cosmos is only skin deep, it is an adornment and decoration that covers a grave full of rotten stinking bones. Jesus said as much to the religious leaders, among the celebrities of the system, ‘you are like manicured grave plots, the grass clipped and the flowers bright, but six feet down it all rotting bones and worm eaten flesh. People look at you and think you’re saints, but beneath the skin you are total frauds.’ (Mt.23:27 The Message Bible) Supermodels are among the ‘saints’ of this world’s system and the advertising hoardings and celebrity magazines the evangelists. What is at the heart of the system is the establishment of self-righteousness, we call it self-esteem or self-established, in other words being your own god.

John said it most succinctly in his first letter v 15: ‘we are of God little children, but its the people of the world who continue in the grip of the evil one.’ There is a huge difference between a manicured grave plot and a manicured pearl, apart from the latter not needing so much manicure!
